Summary:

STULZ USA, a global leader in mission-critical infrastructure cooling technologies, is seeking an experienced and innovative Product Manager to enhance our portfolio and development capabilities. As the Product Manager, you will lead the technical aspects and lifecycle management of assigned products within our precision cooling portfolio, ensuring market share growth and profitability. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with various stakeholders and demands a blend of business and technical skills to drive the development of industry-leading solutions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the technical aspects and lifecycle management of assigned products, from launch to obsolescence
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders on customization opportunities and complex technical projects.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, increase portfolio profitability, and launch new products.
  • Build on existing product strategies and develop innovative ideas based on customer feedback, market data, and industry experience.
  • Assess the competitive landscape and industry trends, solving problems to find high-value, innovative product solutions.
  • Capture customer requirements and implement data-driven strategies to increase market advantage.
  • Serve as a product champion, presenting, promoting, and training stakeholders on competitive positioning, benefits, and target applications/customers.
  • Drive the execution of processes in the product lifecycle, including research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements development, and product launch.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with global STULZ product managers to align portfolio, market data, and support vertical market strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent proven product management experience in the Data Center industry.
  • Understanding of traditional precision cooling, high-density cooling (e.g., liquid cooling), heat rejection, and data center critical infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, CAD, CRM, and SAP.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, enjoys independent, hands-on work.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication (verbal & written, public speaking) with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically <20% of the time, with some occasional international travel possible.
  • Valid passport & clean driver’s license, with the ability to pass customer site security screenings.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent proven product management experience in the Data Center industry.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Relevant certifications in product management or related fields are a plus.
