Title:  Sheet Metal Brake Operator - 2nd Shift

Summary:

Plans, lies out, fabricates and repairs sheet metal parts and products by performing the following duties:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to run Hydraulic press break and punches
  • Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/32nd inch.
  • Must be able to follow verbal, written and pictorial instructions.
  • Must be able to use hand tools.
  • Must be able to trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces.
  • Must be able to handle and operate machine.
  • Must be able to operate a fork lift and other equipment used to move or place equipment as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education & experience. 
  • Must have experience in factory setting.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must complete and pass required forklift safety training (within 60 days of employment).

Language Skills:

Ability to read and understand english instructions.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers & common fractions.

Hourly Rate: $19.50 - $21.00
