Title: Procurement Manager
Summary:
As the Senior Manager of Procurement, you will drive company-wide strategic procurement initiatives for the 3 North American sites, optimize supplier relationships, and lead a high-performance team to enhance cost savings and operational efficiency within STULZ. You will be a key member of the management team, driving process and cost optimization, and will have ownership of a procurement team focused on strategic procurement, supplier negotiation and relationship management, and master data governance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supplier and Contract Management: Negotiate favorable terms, oversee contract lifecycle management, and establish diversified sourcing strategies
- Performance Optimization: Build and lead a results-driven procurement team, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Supply Chain Analytics and KPI Tracking: Develop metrics and reporting frameworks to measure procurement performance and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy for key cost commodities ensuring a successful supply chain in order to meet customer requirements.
- Develop strong relationships and implement alternate sourcing strategies with critical suppliers.
- Negotiate and manage contract lifecycle, including renewals of existing contracts and onboarding for vendors/suppliers into the procurement process.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including legal, manufacturing, quality, finance, and IT, ensuring procurement processes are efficient and transparent, and meet established controls and standards.
- Own company-wide inventory levels, providing the oversight and guidance needed to maintain the right inventory levels while minimizing slow-moving and obsolete parts.
- Develop and manage the procurement tactical teams and operational processes, emphasizing performance and efficiency.
- Ability to travel 15-20%

Education/Experience:
- Proven experience in leading procurement transformation initiatives and driving continuous improvement in the supply chain.
- A bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field.
- 10+ years in strategic procurement leadership and successful operational procurement in a manufacturing environment.
- An advanced degree or professional certification (CPIM, APICS, CPSM) is highly desirable.
- Experience in the air conditioning /humidification industry preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of procure-to-pay workflows and their impact on business, finance, and procurement operations.
- Proficiency in Procure to Pay monthly reporting and key performance indicators.
- Strong analytical capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities, analyze spending trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaboration with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders for process optimization and cost savings opportunities.
- Proficiency in SAP R3/HANA and analytic tools.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment in a manufacturing plant.
Salary Range: $130k - $150k
