Title:  Maintenance Technician II

Summary:

To perform diversified mechanical, electrical and other duties to the preparation or repair of new and/or existing machinery; perform preventive maintenance as scheduled in a variety of plant machinery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, determine problems, and repair various types of machinery used in the plant.
• Maintain company grounds inside as well as outside of plant.
• Be able to follow maintenance schedule in a timely manner.
• Maintain and upgrade as necessary maintenance library.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or General Education (GED) or 3 years related experience.
• Must be able to work/perform preventive maintenance elevated in excel of 25 feet.
• Basic computer knowledge a must.
• Carpentry, Welding, and Mechanical experience.
• Fast learner.
• Ability to work with other Maintenance Technicians.
• Perform other duties as required.

Language Skills:

•  Ability to read and understand English instructions

Mathematical Skills:

• Must possess basic math skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers and fractions.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.  The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and vibration.  The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
