Title: Human Resources Assistant
SUMMARY - Provides administrative support in the Human Resources department, (which requires extreme confidentiality), and serves as the back-up to the reception desk.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain electronic records and spreadsheets
- Data entry and reporting utilizing the HRIS (SuccessFactors) and ERP (SAP) systems
- Process PO requisitions and invoices for HR expenses
- Assist with new employee onboarding process, including orientation
- Conduct exit interviews
- Copying/faxing/scanning as needed
- Assist employees with HR-related questions and processes
- Provide support for the company wellness plan including scheduling of onsite activities
- Cover the reception desk for lunch break (daily) and during absences
- Other administrative HR duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years administrative experience in an HR setting preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- HRIS experience preferred
- Must have good interpersonal skills, dealing with all levels of employees
- Confidentiality and dependability a must
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment in a manufacturing plant. At times, employee may be required to meet with managers or employees on the shop floor.
