Title:  Human Resources Assistant

Description: 

SUMMARY - Provides administrative support in the Human Resources department, (which requires extreme confidentiality), and serves as the back-up to the reception desk.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Maintain electronic records and spreadsheets
  • Data entry and reporting utilizing the HRIS (SuccessFactors) and ERP (SAP) systems
  • Process PO requisitions and invoices for HR expenses
  • Assist with new employee onboarding process, including orientation
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Copying/faxing/scanning as needed
  • Assist employees with HR-related questions and processes
  • Provide support for the company wellness plan including scheduling of onsite activities
  • Cover the reception desk for lunch break (daily) and during absences
  • Other administrative HR duties as assigned

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

  • 2+ years administrative experience in an HR setting preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • HRIS experience preferred
  • Must have good interpersonal skills, dealing with all levels of employees
  • Confidentiality and dependability a must

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment in a manufacturing plant. At times, employee may be required to meet with managers or employees on the shop floor.
