Summary:

This position supports key human resources functions and works closely with the Plant Manager and Corporate HR Department for recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations and development needs. The HR Business Partner will be the onsite representative for all things HR at our Denton, TX location, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards, including ISO requirements are met. The ideal candidate is highly organized, skilled at managing multiple priorities, and handles sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Plant Manager and other site leadership to assess workforce needs and deliver effective recruitment, development and training solutions.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations to ensure a smooth and engaging transition into the organization.
  • Maintain and update training records in accordance with ISO standards and company policies.
  • Provide support for various HR functions, including employee file management and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure the secure handling of sensitive employee information.
  • Coordinate employee development programs, including scheduling and tracking of training sessions.
  • Provide support to employees for all employee relation issues, benefits and policy questions, and other support as required.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Apply sound judgment and follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Plan and organize company events and employee culture initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production plant environment.
  • High volume recruiting experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience leading presentations and training.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with a track record of sound decision-making.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including advance Excel.
  • HRIS and LMS experience a must; preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Strong community relationships including membership in local SHRM chapter, experience working with local employment resources.

 

Education:

  • Bachelors in Human Resources Management, or a related field preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions and documentation.
  • Bi-ligual Spanish a plus!

Mathematical Skills:

  • Proficient in basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and descriptive statistics.
